The People’s Justice Collective was founded with a vision of hope—a hope to live in a world where lives are not destroyed by the injustices of our nation’s criminal justice system. Our founder, Brandon Robert Watts, created this organization to amplify the voices of those silenced by the system and to fight for justice for all.
Since its creation, The People’s Justice Collective has tirelessly advocated for bringing attention to the forgotten and overlooked stories of those trapped in the criminal justice system. Our members mentor at-risk youth, offer Know Your Rights trainings to Black and Brown communities, and work diligently to support incarcerated individuals, helping bring them home.
We also lead nationwide campaigns for urgent criminal justice issues, such as the Death Penalty. In one of our most impactful efforts, our founder Brandon Robert Watts led a nationwide campaign advocating for the clemency of Marcellus Williams, a Black man on death row despite evidence pointing to his innocence. We continue to fight for justice for others like him, pushing for reform in a system that has disproportionately affected people of color.
At The People’s Justice Collective, we stand with the marginalized, the forgotten, and the oppressed, working every day to create a future where justice is accessible to all.
